
I almost like this cover. The title choice is okay and the pink stripped canopy-thingie is bright and fits somehow with a sugary theme, but I don't know why they chose the cake they did to be the central element.
Leaving aside that I know kids that won't touch anything green, even icing, what about gnomes and flamingos is all that great? And there is a definite asymmetry to the presentation that would have me looking for a lost tree or garden element if I saw this on a table.
The food in the side windows is more attractive than the flamingo-gnome-grass cake, and the sort of thing that moms and other bakers are going to what to whip up for their home/school/office parties.
